A colleague is trying to complile PGPLOT with Tcl/Tk Support, but
we're running into problems all the time when the loader wants to
include a libdl.{a,so} since there is no such lib on all our
systems, neither with gcc/g77 nor with Decs native compilers.

Can anyone hint me towards a place where I may find that library ?

still no luck with getting pgplot to compile with a Tcl/Tk
driver... it appears to need the libdl.{a,so} libraries
for it to work... i tried looking at the pgplot web site at
caltech (which had an incredibly slow data rate -
10-20 bytes/sec.) but it didn't appear
to have any clues on this particular error...
could you please look into this problem and whether
the libdl.a library exists for DEC Alphas OSF1 operating
system? without this tcl/tk driver i simply can't reduce
a spectroscopy data set that i have (i.e., it is needed)...
thanks for any help you can provide...

TIA

Tschüß,
