The Stray Interrupt could be caused by a poor power ground. Check if
your console is plugged on the same circuit as your system. Check if
your console data cable is not too much longer.

Stray interrupts means that some piece of hardware is generating
noise on the processor interrupt lines. It indicates some hardware
problem.

Does this machine have a serial console? We used to get messages like this
on DEC3000 machines (m700 and m900) with serial consoles. DEC support had
bug reports about this, and pretty much looked like the reason was buffer
overruns in the serial hardware, and could safely be ignored.
Yes, the machine is connected to a serial interface.
I'll check the power and other cables just in case - it's annoying!
