Since Tom L. has just mentioned the "Elsa Gloria Synergy" video card, I
should mention that this is the video card that a number of subscribers
suggested when I asked for a "cheap" 24bit video card for my labs of
AlphaStation 255's. I'm not sure whether this card will work in an AS255
or not (it's not an 'option' on DEC's site for the AS255). I've asked my
local rep to get one for me to try out, I haven't received it yet, he
suggested they are about AU$500 (which is better than AU$1300 for the
other DEC card!).
