Did you modify any of the make parameters or environment before building. ---------------------- Todd Acheson 740 593-0034 acheson_at_ohiou.edu --------------------------------------------------------------- ======== original posting follows ============================= --------------------------------------------------------------- >From youngbp_at_email.uah.edu Mon Apr 5 14:44:33 1999 Date: Wed, 31 Mar 1999 14:44:16 -0600 (CST) From: "Paul N. It's also a Domain Name Server running v8.1.2 BIND. I just installed sendmail 8.9.3 (was running sendmail 8.8.8). The new sendmail seems to function fine except that it core dumps to /var/spool/mqueue and leaves lots of "no control file" entries there also (as displayed by mqueue command). I have to delete these every day as hundreds build up overnight. My Makefile in src/obj.OSF1.V4.0.alpha has these lines: MAPDEF= -DNEWDB -DNDBM -DNIS -DMAP_REGEX INCDIRS= -I/usr/local/bind/include LIBDIRS= -L/usr/shlib -L/usr/local/bind/lib LIBS= -ldb -lbind -ldbm Do you have any any suggestions? Thanks, I'll summarize. Paul Youngblood University of Alabama in Huntsville e-mail: youngbp_at_email.uah.eduReceived on Mon Apr 05 1999 - 20:16:34 NZST
