As a first point, you can't export the same file system twice under Digital Unix. You need to have one line in the exports file which includes both host IP addresses for the client. I'm trying to mount a directory on one alpha (4.0b) with another alpha (4.0e). In the exports file on the alpha with the data I have: /usr/local/homes -root=0 192.1.1.1 /usr/local/homes -root=0 192.2.2.2 Since there are two nics in the machine that I'm trying to mount the drive on. No, those are not the real IPs. I still get a permission denied though when I try and access a directory not read-only to everyone. Any idea whats going on here? Thanks for the time. -andy -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Andy Walden Work Email: andy_at_mtco.com.
