Thanks a lot to all the guys who responded to my enquiry, all the
suggestions were very intresting. Here are the names:

Xuejun Cai
Nopchai Tangtritham
Erik Persson
Sam Washburn
Matt White

The original question was:

I want to know if there is some applications available on Alpha to make a
SMTP Mailsystem with Web-Based clients (the clients would use an Internet
Browser).

And the suggestions of the obove persons:

1.
CommuniGate Pro of stalker.com. It support SMTP, pop3 , imap and web-based
client.

2.
There are some open source application support web-based client which can be
found on freshmeat.net.

3.
Provided you have a working setup with SMTP and IMAP servers (I would
recommend the UWash IMAP) there are at least two products known to me. At
the time being I am using something called IMP, which is a PHP3-based
application that can be run by any web server that supports CGI (apache
has special PHP3 support so there it's even easier). IMP works pretty
well. The website for IMP is http://web.horde.org/imp.

As I use Roxen for web server platform I am now looking into IMHO, which
is a Roxen-only application with functionality like that of IMP. Roxen can
be found at http://www.roxen.com and IMHO at
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~stewa/IMHO.

4.
we use atdot at atdot.org it's written in perl.
