Hello all

i have an Dec Alpha running v4.0e (enh. sec and NIS MASTER)
my wish is to setup up samba to change the NIS password as the user
changes his sambapassword using sambapasswd.

The problem occured is that passwd (<> yppasswd) couldn't change the
users password when i call the program as root with or without knowledge
of the users old NIS password.

the message is :
couldn't change passwd

As the manuals state that i have to use dxaccounts for this task, i
have to use a commandline utility, as sambapasswd is calling this.

Is this problem known or have anybody any other sollution for
samba <> NIS password synch ?

Thanks for your Help !
