Problem with Raw Devices

Hello Guys!
Does any one of you have had this really strange problem with Digital
TruCluster ver 1.5, Digital UNIX 4.0D and Oracle Parallel Server 7.3.4. We
have an Oracle Database in raw devices like "/dev/rrzg45c", and many others
(Total 70) . We're no using DRD's (Distribuited Raw Devices) now , but we
already know that we should (it is supposed to be risky for the Database to
get corrupted in the Instance Parallel Environment). So, in our firts tests,
we just created DRD's Services at "asemgr" over the existing raw devices
(being used by one of the DB Instance), then we applied inside Oracle an

"ALTER DATABASE RENAME FILE '/dev/rrzg45c' TO '/drd/rdrd44'; (for example).
And it did work very good. (Database Started up and Shutted down OK).

But we decided to come back to RAW DEVICES and Oracle coudn't rename the DRD
device to RAW DEVICE (it just got waiting forever). Then we try to apply
next steps:

1. tar cvf /dev/rrzg45c and Digital UNIX said "Read Only Device" (even
after dropping the DRD Services).
2. We can't not write to partitions "a" or "c" (the first block).

We don't know what's going on in it's really urgent to!!
May be one of you might know what are the steps to come back from DRD's to
RAW DEVICES in TruCluster Software using any RDBMS.

Thanks!!!

Saludos!
