MTI Gladiator for Compaq Alphas?

Dear fellow admins,

we have more than a dozen Alphas with Tru64 4.0D and TCR 1.5 connected to
various HSZxx.
The main application is SAP R/3 with an underlying Oracle Database. We are
planning to migrate to fibre channel solutions for performance and disaster
recovery reasons.
We have a lot of experience with HSZs and the new ESA12000 would fit in our
environment.
However, I'm looking for opinions:
Has anyone experiences with other RAID-Solutions than StorageWorks for Alphas
und Tru64 Unix?
The MTI Gladiator 6700 or IBMs VSS or even EMC are potential candidates.
What about support (Who is to blame in case of data corruption, ...)?
What about TruCluster?
What about one big storage cabinet vs. several small ones?

Thank you very much in advance,

Regards
Peter
