Hard Drive, Should I install?

Hello,

I have a dec 3000 running DU 4.0d. It has a small hard drive (1 gig rz26).
I salvaged a rz25 (400 MB) and some other scsi drives that are larger
but not manufactured by digital. My question: I assume that the rz25
can be installed rather painlessly, but will the system recognize the
other drives properly? I am not sure I want to go to the trouble of
opening up the box only to find out that it won't work.
