Compatibly of /etc/passwd between Tru64 4.0 and 4.0e

Hello Tru64 Unix World!

Dose anyone know if /etc/passwd for Tru64 Unix 4.0 will work on a Tru64
Unix 4.0e machine?

I am wanting to just copy the end user entries from one /etc/passwd to
the other. Will it work?
