4.0D and SMP

Dear all,

on our 8200 5/300 we seem to have an SMP-weirdo. We seem to have some
"clustering" of jobs on a single CPU. Under older DU I believe the
problem was that all I/O was serialised through the boot CPU but that
was removed in 4.0 (or not?) so I cannot understand why we seem to
have three largish DB (postgres, separate invocations & daemons) jobs
all sitting on one CPU while the other is idle. We can load the other
CPU with something suitably stupid and see the CPU % go up to 100 on
it while the other jobs battle it out on the first CPU.

Can anyone shed any light on the matter? Usual boring DU 4.0D PK#3.

Thanks,

Arrigo
