Thanks to

Bob Vickers R.Vickers_at_dcs.rhbnc.ac.uk
Albert Brosich brosich_at_univ.trieste.it
Wolf Dieter Brandt wolf_at_chaos.gwdg.de
Dr. Thomas Blinn tpb_at_doctor.zk3.dec.com
Michael A Crowley mcrowley_at_MtHolyoke.edu
                        aad_at_nw.verio.net
George A Dowding dowdingg_at_saturn.math.uaa.alaska.edu
and Peter Stern.
Everybody aggrees that some sort of filter should be
used.on DU filters are applicable to only local
printers.

Dr. Thomas Blinn has provided the good advice that if
you know how things work then you can always modify
them.Thanks Dr. Blinn.

Bob Vickers and Michel Crowley have provided perl
scripts and printcap entries and thats the approach
seems to be working for me.

George Dowding and alberto brosich have asked to use
magicfilter, but so far I havent tried that.

So I am using a filter for ascii printer, which checks
the file content and if it is PostScript then the file
is not printed and user is notified.

Thanks to all once again.

Shirish Jani.
