Stale nfs handle error.

Hello-

I am attempting to mount a remote file system and keep getting this
message:

[root] resolute:/# mount /seawater
/bosco on /seawater: Stale NFS file handle


Here is the entry in my fstab:

/bosco_at_seawater.tamu.edu /seawater nfs rw,bg,intr,soft 0 0

seawater has an entry for me in the exports file.

I am running DU4.0e the other machine is an SGI running Irix x.x

Thoughts please?
