I have a found a situation on one of my systems that I have never
seen before. I have searched the archives, but found nothing like
this.
I am experiencing this on an AS 4100 running DU V4.0D with Patch kit
#2.
We have a user for which there are no processes running that "finger"
shows has been idle for over 9 days.
The following is the output from the finger command:
Login name: xxxxxx In real life: xxxx xxxx
Directory: /usr/users/xxxxxx Shell: /bin/ksh
On since Apr 26 15:17:16 9 days 19 hours Idle Time
on ttybd from [ip-address]
No Plan.
I have used "ps" to attempt to display processes for either the user
or the tty with no success.
The following is the output of "ls /dev/ttybd":
crw--w---- 2 jxbofb terminal 6,205 Apr 26 15:33 /dev/ttybd
Can anyone shed some light on this??
