X-Windows or VT420(vt400) via ppp from W95/98/NT client

Sorry to be a bother but...

I have a ppp connection through our Intel based, ethernet-LAN to my DU4.0d
alpha box and I can run a VT400 telnet session pretty well but I would
really like to see if an X-Windows session would be feasible (given
connection speed, refresh rate, and application usage).

Our normal usage with X-Windows is for nedit, Netscape and interactive SAS,
sometimes. Our connection speed is 28K but will soon be 56K (true digital
lines on the ethernet-LAN end - SHIVA). Any advice would be appreciated.
