I heartily agree. There does seem to be a push by DEQ of AdvFS and/or RAID
systems which as far as I can see from this list, cause many headaches
for their owners and may well not be necessary or may even result in
reduced performance/ extra expense. Every time a system upgrade is issued,
the release notes contain all sorts of caveats regarding filesystems other
than UFS. Is AdvFS now the FIS default? Heaven forbid!
