Hello,
Looking for some info/recommendations for a config to handle
tru64 clustering in the following scenario --
1. Portable -- i.e. alphas and disks small enough to put in
carriers and ship on airplanes.
THe purpose of this is to implement a portable training setup for
our users, but rather than purchase a pair of machines a scsi array
for every site -- we want to be able to pack it up and ship to the next
site, do the training, and then move on. I am thinking towers would
be better than rack mount, but thought I would see if anyone has done
anything like this...
Also, does anyone have suggestions for a place to get the hardshell
cases to be ableto ship the beasts??
Looking to handle 20-30 uers per training session, so the CPU does not
have to big huge... I was thinking of buying Alpha 1000 motherboards
from someplace like ebay or similar and them building a config with
a tower case, etc.
Any suggestions/comment would be appreciated...
thanks
