SSH1.2.27 Performance Issues

Has anyone else noticed performance issues with the latest release of Secure
Shell? I loaded ssh 1.2.27 and the transfer rate for a 4MB file on the same
subnet went from 550 kb/sec to 40 kb/sec

I posted a message to ssh_at_clinet.fi but as usual no one responded.

I'm running it on DU 4.0D.
