OK, so once the obvious was pointed out to me, I was able to successfully update
the firmware on the Alphastation 400.
At the end, it said to power cycle the machine, and I did (waiting about a
minute between like I'm supposed to), and now the machine won't get past the
memory check. It had a bank of 16's and a bank of 32's (for 96 Mb total).
Assuming that the memory check is failing, I removed the RAM, and tried all
combinations of them (just the 16's, just the 32's, added some spare 8's we
had lying around). No luck. Any ideas? I thought I remembered seeing something
like this in the archives, but can't seem to find it again.
