SUMMARY: xmessage command

My original question was about the xmessage utility, and why there was a man
page on the system, but no command. But mostly I wanted to know where to
find xmessage.

Thanks to:

Danielle Georgette
Chuck Moore
Anthony Talltree

For their suggestions.

Special thanks to John Taylor and Wayne Sweatt, who actually send me the
latest source code (Yes John, 9605 is the latest, according to Wayne and
some URL's I found over the weekend.) I had some trouble compiling, I just
forgot to run "xmkmf" but it's up and running now. In regards to the fact
that the reference page was there with no utility, Dr. Tom Blinn wasn't sure
if it was on oversight or a deliberate omission. He also indicated that it
was more likely the reference page would be removed, and less likely the
utility would be added. With that in mind I have attached the file for
anyone who's interested.( Your choice gzip or compressed tar.)

(Dr. Blinn, why remove functionality? In today's highly competitive UNIX
market wouldn't it make
more sense to add functionality, rather than remove it?)

UNIX is very user friendly, It's just very particular about who it makes
friends with.
