Terminal disabled

Hello,

We recently went through a root-password-changed-to-something-unknown
situation. During the course of working on that problem, my terminal was
'disabled'. When I attempt to login to root, after having logged in as a
non-root user, I get the following message:
Terminal is disabled -- see Account Administrator.

Any ideas on how I 'enable' the/my terminal ?
