We have experienced problems recently on our 4.0d PK#1 4100 running oracle &
PeopleSoft. A few days ago our oracle exports bombed indicating data
corruption. I then stopped running the defragment job after I heard of the
file corruption problems. This morning oracle hung again with the errors
listed below, which look to me like file corruption. I rebooted and the DB
looks like it came up OK. My questions are: Does verify get run on reboot
like fsck does for ufs? Is there any other way I can verify the integrity
of my ADVFS filesystems, on-line or otherwise? Any advice or help would be
appreciated.
