We have patched our 3.2c 2100 and wait to see if the problem manifests
itself again....

We are still unable to move to new hardware as Informix is not working
correctly on 4.0d.
The problem is not the dynamic server but the 4gl runtime --- has
anybody else had this problem ??
The current test configuration is 7.30 FC5-1 Dynamic Server
7.20 UD6 4gl/runtime (
this was 7.20 UD1)
this is being tested on and Alpha 2000 with 128mb ram and
4.0d
The problem seems to be that in the recent releases the LONG field type
has been changed to INT and this in the first place affected the date
fields but after a number of patches is now shown to affect other fields
---- has anyone the same problem and has had any direct contact to
Informix on this problem
