Ok...I'm re-doing our news and cache server in a few months and need
some recommendations...

First of all...How large should the file system sizes be for news and
cache? Currently we're using 25 Gig for news and its holding news for
about 12-13 hours then purging... Cache is set to 4 Gig or something
tiny like that and its holding cached items for 5 or 10 mins.... Our
news server holds about 60000 groups (all alt.binaries and the like)..
I was thinking about 150 Gig for news and 60 Gig for cache... Anyone
have any opinions on this?

And secondly... I was wondering if any of you had any pros or cons on
striping the file systems for each of these. Number of drives isn't
important. we'll order however many are needed.

Thanks for any opinions :)
