Solution provided by Chris Ruhnke ( Ruhnke_at_US.ibm.com )
Go into NWADMIN (GUI) or NSRADMIN (COMMAND LINE) and determine the
directive being used for your backup client(s). Then modify the
directive to add the line:

> > +atimeasm: .?* *
