I am trying to configure a DEC TSZ07 9-track tape drive that is connected to
the same HSZ channel as a TZ887 DLT autoloader. Both devices are configured
properly as passthrough tape devices on the HSZ. When the system is
booting, the messages show the DLT as tz17 and the 9-track as tzb17. The
DLT was configured properly with MAKEDEV tz17 but when I issue MAKEDEV
tzb17, I get the following:
MAKEDEV: special file(s) for tzb17:
MAKEDEV: unknown device in: tzb17
Am I missing something?
