Hi Managers.
We have a slight problem in terms of printing to a LaserJet 4 with an IP
address. The print queue is defined as per /etc/printcap and used via Oracle
Financials. They print cheques but every time they send a file to this
printer it performs the following:_
adds a few characters at the top of every page and prints an extra page
after every correct one.
Can anyone help us get round this one, we are running Unix 4.0B?
The entry in the printcap file looks like this:-
lp12|12|ctdl_fin_2|ctdl-fin-2:\
:lf=/usr/adm/lp12err:\
:lp=:\
:rm=IP_ADDRESS:\
:rp=raw:\
:sh:\
:sd=/usr/spool/lpd12:
Many Thanks
Steve
