PROBLEM: Is it possible to resize the system-partitions which are in use,
with the GUI partitioning tool from DEC ?

The Answer is: NO !

SOLUTION: To Solf the Problem you have to make a dump (vdump by advfs)
copy of your partitions. Then boot from cd rom and use the partiton tool from
the installation gui.Dont't install any Software ! To check the vdumps you
can try vrestore -t to list the contents.

After resizing the partitions you have to restore (vrestore if vdump is
used) your partitions.

Thanks to everyone!
