HSZ Monitoring

Hello Again,

I am trying to obtain tools that can be used for HSZ (40/50/70) controller
monitoring.
It would be nice to be able to capture information such as cache hit rates,
etc.

I have used vtdpy on the consoles of the HSZ's but obviously this is
realtime monitoring, what would be nice would be to have a utility that
captures data over time, that can be tabulated or even printed on a graph.

I have seen uaio, which is a vast improvement over the standard iostat, and
collect is great for collecting data against particular LUN's. I was once
shown something called dstatviewer which uses the internal dstat program
within the HSZ, but unfortunately I believe this utility is an internal use
only product - unless anyone knows different.

Does anyone have any suggestions. I've heard of people who've written some
clever stuff in Visual Basic which captures the data to a serial port on a
PC and then graphs it. Alas I have no programming skills and this would
involve either one PC per HSZ or some type of server.

Regards
