We still have some 3000/600's, so I tend to collect documentation on these.
There is an immensely detailed Digital Document, "DEC 3000 300/400/500/600/
700/800/900 AXP System Programmers Manual", order number
EK-D3SYS-PM.B01, revised July 1994, 344 pages. Around page 195 is
a discussion of the LANCE DMA interface.
I got this document from the Linux on DECstation web site. (They also have TurboChannel,
so I guess this is why it was there.)
