Managers,
We're going to be replacing the batteries on our HSZ40 this afternoon, and
want to utilize the direct connection to reset the failover before we reboot
the system. However, we've been unable to make a connection with our Linux
workstation using 'cu', and are beginning to wonder if we can reboot the
system into single-user mode, run bcheckrc and use hszterm to reset the
configuration.
As we must minimize downtime, we can't take the system down to test this
scenario out. Does anyone have any idea if this would work? We're running
v4.0B on a 4100.
BTW, we used to use Procomm on a laptop to do this, but it was old and has
gone on to electron nirvana.
Thanks,
Michael
