Print problem using bootp configured HP JetDirect cards

I am trying to setup my HP Jectdirect cards to allow printing directly to
the IP address of the printer. I setup bootp and the bootptab file and now
the printer is assigned an IP number when it is powered on.

The IP number is in the DNS list and the hosts file. The printcap file is
setup and works using DEC Unix 3.2C with no problems (I wasn't here when
this was setup). The only difference between the working bootp server and
the one that does not work is that the community name does not appear to be
passed to the printer. Below is how each printer differs.

Working printer SNMP SET CMTY NAME SPECIFIED
Non-Working Printer SNMP SET CMTY NAME NONE

Can anyone point me in the right to set-community-name so that the printer
will work or can someone guide me in the right direction?

Thanks
