Hi All ,
Firstly , after buying all the doco for the SNA-3270-TPS
I was informed that I should of gone with TN3270-C which
is the later product . Both of these require licences and
both require you to buy the doco . It's not on the CDs .
The UID is a red herring .
The command ncl>show csma-cd station * all
displays :
UID =1C355155-38A1-11D3-8D9D-0000F807C37C
Communication Port = tu1
Hardware Address = 00-00-f8-22-37-C0
State = On
MAC Address = 00-00-f8-22-37-C0
Forget the UID , the harware address and Mac address
should be the ones that are correct .
The question was :
2100A Ver 4.0D
HI All ,
I am attempting to install the SNA Peer server ,
TN3270 server , SNA engine , 3270 TPS blah blah blah .
This is via tcp/ip , LLC2 , 3174 , VM/CMS / vtubes blah blah .
If anyone has done this before , I'd sure appreciate it
if you got any advice . !!
For now though , I ran wddsetup on a second ethernet
card (tu1) . When the system boots I get :
Node ID is 00-00-f8-07-c3-7c (from device tu0)
Node UID is 48297a40-3385-11d3-b798-0000f807c37c
Seems to be picking up the primary card (tu0)
Is this going to be a problem ??
Thanking you ,
