Hi Managers,
I am upgrading the Tru64 UNIX version on my AlphaServer 1000, which is
currently at 3.2d. I am going to do a complete re-installation from
scratch, so there are no issues about upgrade paths. I can choose from
the very latest version 4.0F or use the older version 4.0D with
patches. I am always leery of the newest version until they fix the
newest bugs. Does anyone who has worked with both 4.0D and 4.0F know of
any significant problems with 4.0F that would warrant staying with the
older version? How about increased disk or RAM requirements? Thanks
in advance for any input.
