SUMMARY: rpc.statd 'cannot talk to statd at ;id'...

Thanks to all for the quick responses.

The problem with the above is of course, the ';id' reference in place of
the usual host designation. No one had any answer for that one. Special
thanks to Sean O'Connell for reminding me to check /etc/sm.bak, as I'd
forgotten about that one and /etc/sm was empty. Indeed, the ';id' entry
was there and I removed it, but I'm still puzzling over it's source. Will
update if anyone comes up with an idea.
