HI Managers

here is a situation..when we set up a server(DU 4.0D
PK3), by mistake we gave a wrong Hostname(Spell
mistake) for the host and configured for lsm..

later, we corrected it and checked all related files
for the change was effected and system is working
fine..

but the volboot file is a exception which somehow
skipped our eyes.

now, can I change hostid name(one character only) in
volboot file and reboot the m/c? currently our system
disk is mirrored with LSM.when I check the manuals ,
they said not to edit or delete that file even though
it is a text file.

as this is the urgent situation, your earliest reply
might give a timely help..Thanks
