This is a rather late summary but thanks to:

One said we had a similar problem and no longer use the product the other
said we use if with no problems. I guess I don't know where to go from
here. It is hard to believe that Apple hasn't come out with a product that
will work on UNIX.
ORIGINAL QUESTION:
I have asked this question before and I can't believe we are the only one's
having these problems but if we are maybe someone can help qolve them.
We are running Cap 6.0 patched to level 198 on a Alpha 1200 with v4.0d
patch kit #3. We have seen problems with Microsoft office as well as other
issues. With office we have a teacher who has saved Word docs on his
account and wants his students to retrieve them for labs and tests.
Sometimes they retrieve fine other time they are corrupt and can't be
opened. With Powerpoint we can save the file to there share but then
Powerpoint can't open it again because it is corrupt. If it is saved to
the hard drive of the Mac first and then copied to there share and then
copied back to the hard drive it can be opened fine.
We have some users who are making changes to their web pages they cancopy
the pages to there hard drives and make the changes. When they try to copt
it back they get one of two errors. Either they will be told the drive is
full, no quotas enforced, or there is a drive failure and will abort.
As I say I can't believe we are the only one's with these problems so
hopefully some of you have seen these and have answers.
