John speno -- i hope this helps
*****************************************************
I tried voldctl and it changes the hostname..but after
that when I tried volprint -ht , it showed old
hostname only..I tried a reboot/kernel build
So I need to redo it again.
1.in the existing situations, try
voldctl hostid <hostidname>
voldctl list
volprint -ht|more
if it works, then it is fine...if not then try
follow steps from 2.
2.break the mirror/unencap/reboot
3.delete volboot/reconfig.d /reset lsmsimp partitions
to +1024 sectors/reset mirror disk partitions to
unused and equal to root disk.
4.do encap and mirror again..before you start
mirroring, you can confirm this using voldctl list
again.
