HI, Ok, I will not go from nis to c2 , thanks for the warnings of Dr. Tom
Blinn, Nick Leonard and John Francini. I must mention that nis and c2 are
not mutually exclusive as Dr. Tom Blinn said,he and J. Francini also
adviced to move to min version 4.0D . Nick warned me to take my own peril
be cause when they tried in the past, 50 % of users were disabled and the
rest had new passwords. Why dismantling NIS/NFS ? Because i have just one
client working now and i dont want so much vulnerability in my sytem for
just one client ws.
We will not pay 3000$ for upgrading these old decs to 4.0D. There will be
some other alternatives.
