Thanks to all who replied and add to my list.
There is definitely a variety of products out there to try.
* Many users pointed me at a freeware product called AMANDA which I will look
at. www.cs.umd.edu/projects/amanda
* Some users mentioned writing a script to do this, which is what I have done
in the past for our database server and am not apposed to implementing again
but it makes for time consuming file restores. But because this is just a file
repository I figured that a point and click GUI would be more effective.
* It was mentioned that Veritas NetBackup was very comparable to Legato
Networker in features and complexity.
* Also mentioned was Alexandria software located
