Hi Managers,
I am studying Backup now. We plan to backup our OS with backup equipment. When disaster happen, use CD to boot the system, and
rebuild a "CLEAN" OS on disk. After reboot with "CLEAN" OS again, restore original OS from backup equipment. Our OS version is
DecUnix 4.0E.
My question is:
1. When OS is running, could we use backup OS to overwrite it? If the OS open or lock any file when running?
2. Do you have any suggestion for OS backup?
Best regards,
