Dear Managers,

a long time ago I asked

I did not find a reason, some day the whole thing worked like a charm
with exactly the same server and client configuration. Meanwhile we did
some resets on network components and we were using another switch.
So I think some network error causes the problem even though I was able
to boot the xp1000 from disk and use the network without problem !?!

Sorry for wasting time.
