The overwhelming answer to this one is that unplugging it should be
fine.

>>
>> Believe it or not I have never had a console monitor die on me so
>> I don't know how to answer this.
>>
>> Can I safely unplug the monitor from the server(A2100) without causing
>> the system to crash or do I need to shutdown and power down the server
>> first before unplugging it?
>>
>> The console was sitting at the CDE login screen before it died.
