Has anyone successfully configured a Cisco 2509, 2511, or 2512 as a serial
console switch for the Alphas?
The 2509 series are normally used as dialup connection routers, using one as
a serial console switch would connect the console lines in place of dialup
modems, essentially turning around the sense of the connections.
This should allow me to telnet to the router and manage the alphas at the
console level remotely.
