I go an anxiety am working with a Digital server ES40 with Tru64 V4.0F with
RA7000, it with 14 disks for data, as is know can be accomplished RAID1,
RAID 3/5,RAID0 between several of these disks, this can be accomplished it
through CLI and to these storageset is the there can partitions until in 8
those which partitions are recognized as disks by the Operative System. It
is migration to data base SYBASE 11.9 that currently is found in an
equipment SUN by they indicate me that the alone SYBASE can work with
volumes of 2 GB as maximum, and that when I believes a RAID5 with the disks
of more than 16 GB of space not pus to use the arrangement whole.
Someone has an idea which is the recommendation of SYBASE for data managing
or where the can find this ???
