Hi Managers

we are in DU4.0D/pk3.

we are randomly(some times not at all) getting shmat[ENOMEM] errors.when we
start oracle DB..I mean the process got the Shared-mem-segments , but
unable to attach it..may be due to per-proc-data-size is below the actual
process size..

when i check the sysconfig -q proc for getting some details and research for
some modifications, i don't exactly understand the settings for
per-proc-stack-size and max-per-proc-stack-size..

Does it relates with per-proc-data size/max-per-proc-data-size (I can
interpret this)?

can any one throw more light to this?
Do we need to change these values at all for any tuning associated with
per-proc-data-size?

(Please assume we have enough mem and swap)

TIA
CHeers
DUAdmin
