Please excuse the non-techie-question nature of this *short* message.
Today is my last day at this job. I start a new one Monday, where I will
no longer be doing SA (or any other type) work with Compaq/DEC Alpha
systems. (Until I can convince them they need one or two...)
Even though I've never met any of you face-to-face I still had to
say goodbye and thanks. This group is the finest of it's type that
I've ever had the pleasure of joining. I can still remember my first
question, nervously posted, and then answered within an hour or
two by a gentleman from Yugoslavia. If only the rest of the world
could be so apolitical and cooperative...
To all I've interacted with by email. A hearty thanks! Those of
you who've answered my questions have saved me many hours and a
few ulcers. I hope I've been able to return the favor from time
to time as well.
So long and best wishes to all of you.
See you on the Tri-Dub.
