Hi fellows!

First I apologize for having taken quite long to post the
summary. I was kind of busy doing the maintenance stuff and could not
get to my terminal these days. Thanks to:

        Lars Bro <lbr_at_nettest.dk>
        "Dr. Tom Blinn, 603-884-0646" <tpb_at_doctor.zk3.dec.com>
        "Davis, Alan" <Davis_at_Tessco.Com>

Since advscan wasn't able to detect the partitions, I simply
reinstalled the system and restored the backups. Other tips were:

Boot from the CDROM. Running in the standalone system management setup,

create the device special files (in /dev) for the data disks; then go
into
the /etc directory, create fdmns if it's not there, created a domain
name
directory in fdmns, cd into it, then create the symlinks for the data
disks
(if it's one volume), or create two directories/symlinks, depending how
you
had your AdvFS domains set up. Then you should be able to create the
mount
points and mount the data domains.
