Hi,
I'm trying to use the native tftpd server shipped with Tru64 4.0D
(Patch Kit 3) to provide boot images to Fujutsu PC's so they can dualboot
NT and Linux. The tftp server responds and sends over an overlay loader
program (I'm using a loader for PXE compliant bootroms). However once the
overlay loader starts running on the PC client and requests the rest of
the files it tries to exec them after reading only the 1st 512 bytes of
the file (ie. one tftp packet). Is there anyway to make tftpd use bigger
packets? or is the a public tftp implementation which will run on Tru64
which I can modify....I'm using the secondary bootstrap stuff called
bpbatch from www.bpbatch.org..... They provide a working Solaris/Linux
binary for the tftp server but I would like it running on our production
(Alpha) hardware if possible.....
has anyone else got this working?
